Book Review: Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Genre: Historical Fiction
Ages: 9 and Up
I enjoyed
reading this book very much. It is a true American classic that described
pioneer life in the 1800’s. In my opinion Mrs. Wilder did a very good job at
describing scenes from the story and the emotions that characters were
sometimes facing. Little House on the
Prairie is an amazing story that anyone could read and enjoy.
About:
The big woods are
getting more crowded every day. Finally Pa and Ma decide that it’s best if
their family found a new place to settle. So the Ingalls set off on a new
adventure on the Western prairies of Kansas.
Every day new and exciting things happen and Laura absolutely loves it. Being
pioneers, life isn’t always easy but the Ingalls always find a way to make the
best of things, no matter where they go.
