Book Review: The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

Genre: Sci-Fi
Ages: 12 and Up

Absolutely amazing. That's all I can say about this book. I was at the edge of my seat at all times throughout the story, and I couldn't put it down because it was so suspenseful. James Dashner kept throwing new surprises at me in every chapter. Personally I thought this book was even better then the first and I cannot wait to read the next book, The Death Cure, and find out what happens next!

About:
Thomas and the rest of the Gladers have successfully managed to escape the maze. Everyone is finally happy to be back in the real world, and have a chance at living normal lives again. But little do they know, the maze was just the beginning.
Earth is a wasteland. A terrible disease known as the Flare is now spreading rapidly, and it causes people to become like savage animals. Now the Gladers must cross the most dangerous and driest region of the planet in order to arrive at a safe haven within 2 weeks. Along the way, they face new dangers and discover new secrets. Thomas is determined to fight back and overcome, no matter what he encounters.
