Book Review: Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

Genre: Sci-Fi
Ages: 10 and up

Catching Fire was a great book overall. It kept me engaged by throwing surprises at me at every turn. Suzanne Collins has once again beautifully created another masterpiece that continues the story of Katniss Everdeen.

About:
Katniss Everdeen has some how managed to survive the brutal hunger games and has brought Peeta out of the arena alive as well. Since she got back though, things have greatly changed for her. Gale seems to treat Katniss more coldly than he did before, people avoid her, she has moved into a new home, and to make it worse, rumors of a rebellion are spreading like wildfire. And she might just be the cause of it.

The weird thing though for her is that she kind of doesn't want to put a stop to the rebellion. Maybe this is the time that the districts will finally have enough strength to over throw the cruel Capitol. But it's not that easy. Lives are at risk and Katniss is the only one who can either save them or lose them.

If you have read this book before please tell me what you thought of it! It's always great to hear the opinions of others! And maybe I'll even post it on the blog! Happy Mother's Day!
