Book Review: The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis

Genre: Fantasy
Ages: 9-13

First of all, let me start by saying that I absolutely love The Chronicles of Narnia series! But don't read it out of order or it won't make much sense! Anyway, The Magician's Nephew is the first in the series and tells about the creation of Narnia. I liked it a lot and so would other boys and girls who like fantasies.

About:
One cold and wet summer day in London, a boy named Digory and a girl named Polly became friends. An unexpected adventure occurs when Digory's uncle gives Polly a magic ring that takes her to the wood between the worlds. Digory has to go back and get her but they end up going to an evil and old world with an evil sorceress named Jadis. At the end, they all go to Narnia, which is newborn from Aslan's song. What will happen to Jadis, Narnia, Polly, Digory, and Uncle Andrew??

My favorite part in this book is when Narnia is being created. It just seems so beautiful and interesting. Uncle Andrew was also acting strangely which was funny because the animals think that he is a tree so they plant him in the ground while he is passed out.

Have you read this book before? If you have, tell me what you thought of it! It's always great to hear your thoughts and opinions being spoken out loud! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
