Book Review: A Little Princess by Francis Hodgson Burnett

Genre: Historical Fiction
Ages: 10-13

This book is my favorite classic. It has inspired me to be my own little princess. Girls everywhere will love this book. I love how the author makes it that even though Sara is facing troubles, she finds a way to make it more exciting.

About:
Sara Crewe has left India to go to Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies in London. She is unlike anything the other girls have ever seen. While some of them love how she is rich and imaginative, others hate it.

Soon after, a tragic accident occurs, leaving Sara Crewe penniless. Now she has to work in order to survive and wear rags. But through it all, she stays a princess and meets new friends.
