Book Review: Wild Girl by Patricia Reilly Giff

Twelve-year-old Lidie was looking forward to living with her father and older brother, Raphael, ever since they left to New York, where Lidie's father runs a stable at a famous racetrack. Finally, she gets the opportunity.

When at last Lidie arrives at New York, she is surprised when her brother and father still treat her like the little girl they left behind in Brazil. They don't even know how good she is at riding horses. But she sets out to befriend and ride her father's new horse, Wild Girl.

I recommend this book for horse lovers from the ages 9 to 12.
